Women in Agriculture: Turning Seeds into Strength
Story:
In Adjumani District, a group of 250 women — both from host and refugee communities — joined the “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Agriculture” program. Through training in climate-smart farming, access to improved seeds, and market linkages, one participant, Amina, doubled her bean harvest this season. She says: “Now I feed my children and I sell surplus; I feel proud and hopeful.” I would be grateful if I can be supported with value addition as storage of maize is very challenging.
Why it matters: This story demonstrates how RHAC-Uganda enables women to move from subsistence to income generation, strengthening households and community resilience.
Call to action: Support the program so more women like Amina can transform their lives.
SRHR for Youth: Informed Choices, Brighter Futures

He shares: “Before, I didn’t know my rights or how to protect myself. Now I can speak up and help my friends too.”
Why it matters: This story highlights RHAC-Uganda’s commitment to youth empowerment, equipping them with knowledge and agency to shape their futures.

Grace, a mother of four, received support after losing her home: “They came when no one else could. I have hope again.”
Why it matters: This story underscores the urgency and compassion of RHAC-Uganda’s work — responding swiftly to save lives, restore dignity, and build resilience.
